Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy Massage

Aromatherapy Massage takes one hour fifteen minutes to carry out. The essential oils to be used are chosen for their individual qualities. On a physical level the oils can work on conditions like constipation, catarrh, hypertension and many more. On an emotional level the oils can help relieve feelings of anger, apathy, grief and fear. The oils are chosen to treat the client’s individual needs. The massage itself is predominately a lymphatic massage which drains the body of toxins. The lymphatic system is not driven by a pump like the heart, but relies on muscle movement and gravity. Therefore a sedentary lifestyle can cause congestion and stagnation in the lymphatic system resulting in aching muscles, obesity, cellulite and constipation. The lymphatic massage will help to decongest this area of the body. This in conjunction with deeper thumb pressure alleviates tension in the muscles. Reflexology is performed on the feet to help clear vital energy pathways to restore the energy to the organs and bring harmony to the body. It is recommended that the client drinks a glass of water after the treatment to help flush out the lymphatic system. Please not that this treatment is NOT recommended to pregnant woman or breast feeding mothers

Full Body Massage

A Full Body Massage takes one hour. This therapeutic massage has an effect on the skin, muscles, blood vessels, lymphatics, nerves and some internal organs. The massage is carried out with the use of sweet almond oil which is a light, fine, easily absorbed oil, rich in vitamins. It has soothing properties and is particularly beneficial for dry skin. The massage releases tension from the muscles, stimulates the circulation and aids the lymphatic system. A full body massage is highly recommended for ladies who have a stressful lifestyle, for gym enthusiasts and sports women who may suffer from muscular aches and pains, or for those who just want to relax.

Back Massage

A Back Massage takes thirty minutes to carry out, with the use of sweet almond oil which is light, fine, easily absorbed oil, rich in vitamins. It has soothing properties and is particularly beneficial for dry skin. The massage releases tension from the muscles, stimulates the circulation and adds the lymphatic system. Specially recommended for those who suffer from tension around the neck and shoulders. This is a very beneficial and pampering treatment to have before a facial.

Manicure and Pedicure

A manicure is an essential treatment for the hands. It starts by shaping the nails. Cuticle cream is applied to the cuticles and soaked in water. When the cuticles are soft the excess cuticle is removed. The hands are massaged and nail polish is applied.

A pedicure is a total beauty treatment for the feet. It starts by shaping the toe nails, pushing back the cuticles, removing the hard skin and massaging the feet and lower legs. The treatment is completed by an application of nail polish.
